Hotel Arłamów is back in sporting style. After last week's training camp for Polish Champion Piast Gliwice, another team has begun its preparations in Arłamów for the resumption of PKO BP Ekstraklasa matches.
Since Monday, May 18, 2020, Wisła Kraków, the 13-time Polish Champion and four-time Polish Cup winner, has been training at the Arłamów Arena. The training camp is being held in complete isolation, in compliance with all applicable safety requirements, and the hotel remains at the team's exclusive disposal. Before arrival, all players also underwent coronavirus tests.
"In Arłamów, we were welcomed not only by the beautiful surroundings, but above all by a great complex with a well-maintained pitch prepared for our arrival. The special precautions taken by the hotel make the team feel safe here and able to focus on their work before the league restarts. We are impressed with the level of preparation of the facility," said Wisła Kraków coach Artur Skowronek. "Sports training camps are not only a good preseason, but above all, a valuable lesson and an opportunity for our entire team to test the new Safety Policy and new standards we implemented in preparation for the hotel's reopening to guests. Arłamów was, is, and will be home to Polish sport and Polish athletes, and we are pleased that the best Polish clubs choose us as their training base," said Michał Kozak, President of the Management Board of Hotel Arłamów S.A.
The Wisła Kraków training camp at Hotel Arłamów will run until May 23rd.
In response to the COVID-19 epidemic, Hotel Arłamów was one of the first hotel facilities in Poland to develop and implement a new Safety Policy, #safeArłamów. Its aim is to protect the health and ensure a safe and peaceful stay for all guests, while creating equally safe working conditions for employees. Prepared in collaboration with experts and based on current recommendations from the Ministry of Health and WHO, it implements the highest standards in hygiene, organization, and logistics.
