Myczkowce Dam was built in 1955-60, a few years before the great- est Polish dam, located nearby in Solina, was constructed.
It has been operating since 1961, i.e. seven years before the power plant in Solina was opened. The dam holds back the waters of the San River up to 15 metres. Its power is 8.5 MW.Water reservoir in Myczkowce is auxiliary to the dam in Solina. At the moment, the dam is open to take a walk along or continue the excursion along the track through the forest on Grodzisko hill.
